What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Compunnel Inc.?
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Inspect, cut, stage, unstaged, and lay-up Dynalloy, Fibermet, and continuous media rolls.
- Operate large and small rolling mills, continuous Hydrogen furnaces, and Vacuum furnaces.
- Inspect, trim, and package media products according to specifications.
- Read and follow complex work procedures, schematics, or receive verbal instructions for tasks.
- Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve product quality and process efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
- Ensure adherence to EHS regulations, including wearing required PPE.
- Complete all necessary equipment maintenance in the assigned area
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent, or 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to communicate, receive, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.
