Job Summary :
We are seeking a Manufacturing / Process Engineer with expertise in driving continuous improvements in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Tier 1 suppliers, distribution centers, and enterprise-wide tools such as Creo, Agile, and Windchill. You will lead teams to resolve manufacturing and quality issues, support cost reduction projects, and drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. The candidate should have strong knowledge in Lean Six Sigma and Industry 4.0 to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, analyze, and implement manufacturing processes in collaboration with Tier 1 suppliers or Distribution Centers.
- Lead Tier 1 suppliers or Distribution Center teams to identify root causes and resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
- Drive day-to-day manufacturing operations and support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Industry 4.0 frameworks.
- Lead and implement Lean Six Sigma and Industry 4.0 maturity levels with Tier 1 suppliers or Distribution Centers.
- Utilize LSS and Industry 4.0 tools (e.g., Line Balancing, Continuous Flow Line Layout, Point of Use, 5S, TPM, OMS, Cross Training, CTQ, PFMEA, Automation, Digitization Solutions, etc.) to drive process improvements.
- Conduct audits to measure LSS & Industry 4.0 maturity levels and identify gaps and opportunities.
- Analyze and improve processes by working with internal and external teams, focusing on root cause analysis and eliminating recurrence of issues.
- Manage Engineering Change, Deviations, and MFGO processes, evaluating impact, risk, and material disposition.
- Review and approve work instructions and validate that the approved manufacturing processes and parameters are correctly implemented.
- Ensure production BOM is accurate and aligned with Agile references.
- Lead cost reduction projects and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Manage assets, fixtures, tools development, fabrication, validation, and overall management.
- Review and update Labor and MVA Models.
- Make and implement recommendations to improve process capabilities for Mass Production and New Product Introduction.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with other engineering disciplines and functions for problem-solving and implementing innovative solutions.
