Manufacturing Lab Technician

Summary:

This role supports the manufacturing team by preparing materials, assembling products, labeling items, maintaining lab inventory, and ensuring the lab stays clean and organized. You’ll work mostly in a laboratory environment wearing safety gear like lab coats, gloves, and eye protection.

Main Duties:

• Assist with quality control (QC) and final kit closing tasks.
• Cap and torque containers, label vials, and aliquot (measure and divide) bulk materials.
• Assemble product components.
• Receive, store, and manage raw materials and samples.
• Maintain lab organization (5S principles) and keep lab equipment clean and functioning.
• Handle and distribute laboratory glassware.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand or sit for long periods.

Preferred Skills:

• Associate’s degree.
• Previous lab or chemical handling experience.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Access and Excel).
