Job Summary
We are seeking a Material Handler to manage the movement of products within the facility, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards.
The role involves operating material handling equipment, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow workplace safety and product quality policies and guidelines.
- Move, gather, and distribute materials based on production schedules, customer orders, or requisitions.
- Transport materials to storage, production areas, or designated locations.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to specific criteria.
- Assemble and prepare customer orders on pallets for shipment.
- Mark materials with identifying information and handle container opening tasks.
- Record material movements and inventory data in warehouse systems.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment for transportation and storage.
- Load and unload trailers with palletized and non-palletized products.
- Maintain safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
- Support division results by meeting internal and external customer needs and expectations.
