Full Stack Engineer (Golang)
Special Instructions
1.) Location: Merrimack, NH (manager prefers local candidates. If out of area please give reason why they would relocate to NH)
2.) Top Skills:
- -Golang first priority, second would take Java (v11) – Spring Boot, Rest API
- -AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, Batch, S3 )AWS is preferred (Cloud)
5.) Interview: 1 round, team will request onsite if they are close to a Fidelity location
The Role
The position itself requires a strong background in application development, testing, deployment, with familiarity of cloud computing. You will have the opportunity to build high performance applications written in Go deployed to AWS. You must be a self-starter who is passionate about the technology you are building and eager to produce world-class services. You should enjoy working on eclectic technologies in a team environment where your success depends heavily on the success of your team and organization. You should have an appetite and appreciation for new technologies and their innovative influence and enjoy coaching junior members of the team.
This is a very interesting position with exposure to the core Fidelity financial business applications, comprised of both custom and 3rd party products.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 7 Years of experience in developing Enterprise applications in Go
- 2 Years of experience working with AWS EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda
- Development Experience in Snowflake, Java, Spring Boot, Python, Groovy, and Shell Scripting is a plus.
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Experience with automated testing (unit/functional and/or performance)
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s in computer science or other related discipline
- You are delivery focused with end-to-end ownership
- You are familiar with agile development and ability to work well with others
- You have strong commitment to learn and implement high standards in engineering
- Good attitude towards troubleshooting skills that span systems, network, and applications
