Profile : SWET for Desktop Apps (this includes the Desktop UI as well as the backend logical systems).

  • 80% of this is developing automation frameworks from scratch - 20% is the modification of existing automation testing frameworks.
  • Desktop is Windows and Mac - no linux desktop
  • Python Scripting is valuable for the Testing Automation.
  • Tooling - E2E test automation for these solutions
  • Mockito - mocking concepts are needed
  • This is not manual testing
  • developing testing frameworks.

Desktop automation testing is needed

Cloud : AWS experience is needed as the testing is performed on VMs (Ec2 instances).
