Quality Technician I (Night Shift)

Hours: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Ability to flex based on production needs)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and action-driven Quality Technician I to join our team in the industrial manufacturing sector. This position involves inspecting and testing processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts and products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. As a Quality Technician I, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards for product quality and reliability while collaborating closely with your team to resolve any deviations from specifications.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in the industrial manufacturing sector, with a preference for quality control experience.
- Knowledge of machines, tools, and industrial processes is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and measure processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts/products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine inspection procedures, methods, and required tools.
- Record inspection or test data (e.g., weight, temperature, grades, moisture content).
- Mark items with details such as grade, and acceptance/rejection status based on findings.
- Measure dimensions of products using instruments like rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers to verify conformity to specifications.
- Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment that do not meet specifications.
- Analyze test data and perform necessary computations to determine results.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Creativity and problem-solving ability in a technical environment.
- Team-oriented, with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with quality control techniques, production processes, and raw materials.
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
