Registered Nurse - CRCU/ICU

Job Summary

The ICU Registered Nurse provides advanced care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit.

This role involves close monitoring, managing specialized medical equipment, and administering complex treatments.

The ICU RN plays a key role in implementing care plans, observing patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition.
• Operate and manage ICU equipment, including Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
• Provide specialized care for post-Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) patients, stroke patients, and administer TNK treatment.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.
• Maintain availability for all scheduled weekend and holiday shifts, ensuring continuous patient care.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• ICU nursing experience, including proficiency in managing CRRT, CABG, and stroke patient care.
• EPIC electronic medical records experience (mandatory).
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
