This role also involves directing and guiding patient education and the activities of ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Direct and guide patient teaching and the activities of ancillary staff.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the emergency room.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in the Emergency Department is preferred; a critical care background is also desirable.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required.
