Role - Software Engineer In Test (Playwright)
location - Dallas Texas
Hybrid - 2 weeks onsite a month
Must Have - Playwright, Cucumber, Restassured, SQL, Java, Python and Powerapps
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area of study
- Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright and REST API automation
- 8 years of testing and automation experience across business, system/application, information/data, and technical/infrastructure domains using web or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven apps) is a plus.
- Preferred experience or certification in Azure Cloud Services and/or AWS.
- Strong desire and ability to learn and implement new technologies.
- Hands-on Automation Architect with team leadership skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Background in multiple automation technologies, including Playwright.
The Skills You Bring
- Ability to develop, maintain, and implement automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose scripting and programming languages, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience in migrating large-scale applications to low-code platforms or Power Platform is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD for test automation.
- Collaboration with multi-functional teams to understand requirements and develop test plans.
- Skill in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues.
- Participation in code reviews, providing feedback on testability and quality.
- Commitment to continuously improving test processes and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities. Capable of managing multiple deliverables simultaneously.

- Responsible for defining architecture and designing a Test automation framework using Playwright.
- Define and automate functional & regression test packs.
- Responsible for driving compliance with established software development lifecycle and release process
- Understand business requirements in order to design business and technical services (capabilities)
- Create and communicate technical strategy and roadmap to execute target state
- As Design authority work with development team to make sure the solutions are built as per target state
- Collaborate with stake holders, both onshore & offshore, across the IT organization and business as needed
