Title : Aircraft Technician / Aircraft Mechanic
Location : Indianapolis, IN 46219
Duration : 6 Months with possible extension
Summary :
Duties include assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, screen, repair, adjustment, test and / or verification of complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems in accordance with common military, commercial, and aerospace specifications.
Experience Required :
Must be able to perform duties using pneumatic tools, electric tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment.
May perform informal, in-process checks on manufactured or processed items to assist authorized formal inspection and / or test personnel in determining product validation or assist other related job classifications when directed.
Knowledge Required :
Must be able to read, interpret and analyze engineering drawings, production planning and other technical documents, as well as possess extensive knowledge of the varied and complex electronic, electromechanical and / or optical equipment / system(s) involved.
Skill set and experience with performing mechanically inclined and disassembly work a high priority.
Mechanical aptitude is a must.
Automotive, aircraft, biomedical, or racing industry are all industry areas that align with the required experience.
