Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated Application Technician to join our team. This role requires a strong background in fragrances or laboratory procedures and will be 100% onsite. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate accuracy in sampling, testing, and evaluating various fragrance applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct routine sampling of fragrances in various product forms, including Personal Care, Air Care (large candle segment), and Household applications.
- Initiate stability testing and evaluations, including preparing samples for testing in different conditions and product forms.
- Pull samples at designated checkpoints, complete necessary documentation, and schedule evaluation meetings for the Fragrance Development team.
- Assess physical changes in samples during stability testing.
- Perform weight loss testing for air care product forms such as reed diffusers and plug-in air fresheners.
- Conduct pH and viscosity testing on samples as required.
- Retrieve fragrance oils from the Kardex filing system as needed.
- Provide regular stability testing updates to chemists and the Fragrance Development team.
- Maintain a lab notebook and daily sampling log to ensure accurate documentation.
