Job Summary :
The Retail Systems Business Analyst will work closely with the Business Analyst Team Lead to manage and coordinate requests for enhancements and improvements to the store systems, specifically for convenience stores and fuel operations. The role requires in-depth knowledge of both operational and business aspects of Retail Systems and corporate systems, such as Merchandising, Fuel, Accounting, and Marketing. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed business requirements documentation, collaborating with internal and external teams to draft solution designs, and leading the efforts to test and release enhancements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a lead member of the Retail Systems team, using functional and operational knowledge of NCR Radiant and Verifone POS systems.
- Define development, testing, and documentation of business requirements and deliverables for various projects in collaboration with internal users and departments.
- Participate in defining development and project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
- Lead the definition of business requirements related to Retail Systems, including convenience stores (C-stores) and fuel stations.
- Facilitate and lead workgroups with internal and external stakeholders to gather, define, analyze, and validate business, process, functional, and data requirements and business rules for selected systems.
- Provide user community support, including training, troubleshooting, system enhancement recommendations, office automation advice, and query building.
- Develop and maintain all project-related documents, such as installation documents, QA charters, and more.
- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the potential impact of project events and ensure readiness.
- Write training materials for end users to operate new and existing store systems technologies.
- Serve as a liaison with vendors for the efficient implementation of new software products and projects.
- Partner with Retail Systems Engineers to update and create milestones for each project.
