Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFA) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Surgical Tech, particularly in neuro, vascular, orthopedic, and outpatient procedures. Experience with the da Vinci XI robotic system is preferred. The position requires flexibility to work on-call shifts and availability for overnight shifts, as well as weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including neuro, vascular, orthopedic, and outpatient surgeries.
- Work closely with surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes during procedures.
- Provide direct surgical assistance, including preparation of the operating room, handling instruments, and managing patient needs.
- Utilize da Vinci XI robotic systems during surgeries (preferred).
- Follow strict sterile protocols and safety standards to ensure patient safety.
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring readiness and proper handling.
- Participate in on-call shifts (4-6 overnight shifts every 6 weeks) and be available for one in six weekends (either to work or remain on-call).
- Provide holiday coverage as required.
