Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst / Modeler to join our Analytics and Reporting team.
This role involves providing data analysis leadership on sophisticated projects with complex business and technical requirements in a multi-platform, highly integrated data environment.
You will have the opportunity to conduct data analysis across various projects with diverse scopes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide data analysis leadership on complex, enterprise-wide projects.
Conduct data analysis and model complex data requirements in multi-platform data environments.
Design and deliver data mapping specifications for large reporting platforms.
Write and maintain business rules using SQL logic.
Collaborate with DBAs, architects, and subject area owners to create scalable data models.
Gather feedback from Product Owners, Data Architects, and Data Engineers to refine data design.
Guide engineers in assembling large, complex data sets that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements.
Conduct research to identify effective data designs, tools, and methodologies.
Drive innovation and experimentation within the data organization to continually improve processes and solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) with a focus on data analysis, data structures, or data modeling.
Proven experience solving real-world problems using data.
Strong understanding of database platforms (e.g., Oracle, MySQL), and their usages (OLTP Recordkeeping, ODS, MDM, Warehousing, and Data Lakes).
Experience in data modeling strategies (dimensional, snowflake, relational, unstructured).
Demonstrated experience in SQL.
Experience with ERD / Data Modeling tools (SAP Power Designer, Erwin).
Proven track record of executing projects in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across various levels of the organization.
Proven ability to work in reciprocal teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Ability to learn new technologies and architectural methodologies to solve problems.
Strong interest in playing a technical data steward role, working with business and technology partners to understand and maximize the value of data.
Experience with cloud-native data warehousing and data lake solutions using Snowflake.
Exposure to working with Data Scientist teams and knowledge of Feature Engineering.
Experience with database design through the full development lifecycle (requirements, conceptual, logical, and physical data model design).
