Key Responsibilities
• Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data into specific fields or onto disks for further processing.
• Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before inputting it into the system.
• Locate and correct any data entry errors or report them to the supervisor.
• Compare data with source documents and re-enter data in a verification format to detect errors.
• Maintain logs of activities and completed work, ensuring all records are up to date.
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of related experience in data entry or customer service.
