Job Summary
The Data Mining Analyst is responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract data. This role will focus on developing new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information, writing queries, and maintaining strong knowledge of data warehouse database design and related systems. The Data Mining Analyst will also be responsible for supporting data warehouse-related applications and conducting training on applications developed.
Key Responsibilities
Data Mining & Analysis :
Develop and execute data mining analyses to extract and analyze data from various data sources.
Use programming languages to extract and process data for business applications.
Report Development :
Develop new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
Program and write queries and reports to meet business requirements.
Data Warehouse Management :
Establish and maintain a strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
Develop and support data warehouse-related applications, including the design and implementation of database tables.
Training & Support :
Conduct training for business users on the use of applications developed.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for data warehouse-related applications.
Required Qualifications :
Education :
BS / BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience :
- Minimum of 2 years of related analytical experience in data mining, programming, and report generation.
- Strong experience with SSRS, SSMS, SSIS, Visual Studio, and Power BI.
- Proficiency in PC, spreadsheet, and database skills.
Technical Skills :
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications
Certifications in SQL, SSRS, or Business Intelligence tools are a plus but not required.
Education : Bachelors Degree
