Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Intune Administrator – L2 Support professional with 10 to 20 years of experience to support the migration of Ivanti to Intune. This is a temporary engagement, expected to be completed by 3 / 31. The role involves providing technical support to the user community, managing server environments, and ensuring the successful migration and maintenance of systems. The ideal candidate is self-directed, proactive, and skilled in working with diverse IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage users in Intune, Azure, and Office 365 / Microsoft Online environments.
• Perform data mapping, API tasks, and migration-related activities for Ivanti to Intune Migration.
• Maintain Hybrid Microsoft Exchange and Teams environments.
• Collaborate with Wintel team members to share knowledge and workload.
• Resolve Tier 3 and escalated help desk tickets remotely or by phone.
• Manage and own assigned technical projects from initiation through closure.
• Ensure timely resolution of assigned tasks and requests.
• Create and manage machine / server accounts in Active Directory (AD).
• Apply updates and agents to servers to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure system currency.
• Develop and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for software and permissions deployment.
• Work with remote technicians and delegated admins to ensure business continuity.
• Monitor server health and address issues proactively.
• Maintain and update policy and procedure documentation.
• Collaborate with application users and vendors for support and problem resolution.
• Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
• 7 years of IT support and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, including multi-domain and multi-forest environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Server and Windows operating systems, including deployment and upgrades.
• Experience in Microsoft Office application support, including Exchange and Skype for Business / Teams.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as WINS, DNS, DHCP, and TCP / IP.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Self-directed and capable of working independently or within a team.
