Job Summary :
The Shipping and Receiving Associate will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, as well as operating powered industrial equipment to pick and put-away parts. This role also involves working with RF devices and computers to ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintaining attention to detail for serial and lot number tracking, as well as large order consolidation.
Key Responsibilities :
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, to pick and store parts
• Read and interpret picklists to ensure proper order fulfillment
• Use RF scanning devices and computers to assist in the order picking process
• Pay attention to detail when picking serial and lot numbers for accuracy
• Consolidate large orders and ensure all items are packaged and shipped correctly
• Perform other duties related to product distribution as needed
Required Qualifications :
• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
• Several years of shipping / receiving experience
• Experience with Oracle and RF scanning devices preferred
• Forklift operating experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. without mechanical / lift assist
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications :
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
