What are the responsibilities and job description for the Work Order & Invoicing Specialist position at Compunnel?
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Support CSSNA Scheduling team by managing scheduling functions, closing Work Orders / Invoicing, and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Identify and resolve process gaps within the CSSNA Scheduling teams.
- Determine order quantities and schedules to meet the master production plan or customer demand.
- Initiate purchase / work orders and expedite orders as needed.
- Work with suppliers to minimize lead times and balance supply with demand.
- Reconcile order boards for critical suppliers, past due orders, and key materials.
- Collaborate with supply chain planners to reposition excess inventory and optimize inventory levels.
- Manage part changes, ramp-ups, and ramp-downs to prevent excess or obsolete stock.
- Ensure data accuracy in material planning master data (e.g., lead times, order quantities).
- Work with Quality teams to resolve non-conforming material issues promptly.
- Follow all applicable standard work procedures and process documentation.
- Provide timely updates on inventory availability and backorder recovery plans.
- Participate in allocation calls with sourcing managers and suppliers to mitigate supply constraints.
- Document, communicate, and follow up on action items impacting the scheduling process.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, process, and material flow.
- Experience in production scheduling, supply chain planning, or manufacturing coordination.
- Strong understanding of work order management, invoicing, and Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance.
- Ability to analyze supply and demand data to optimize scheduling decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP / MRP systems and inventory management tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
