Shift Requirements :

  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
  • Weekend Availability : Required

About the Role :

Were seeking a highly skilled and passionate Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join this innovative team. In this role, you will play a critical part in diagnosing and treating patients by performing advanced imaging procedures and assisting in specialized interventions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic support by conducting organ or body scans on patients.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately, selecting anatomic and technical parameters.
  • Administer contrast media and medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Observe patients during procedures and promptly report abnormal activity.
  • Monitor imaging protocols, recommending updates or refinements to ensure top-tier patient care.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform complex imaging procedures, including :

    • Angiography

  • Complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures
  • Assisting Radiologists and PAs in specialized interventions.
  • Ensure all activities meet or exceed regulatory agency standards.

    • Licensure / Certification Requirements :

  • Required Certifications :

    • BLS Provider (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

  • Cardiographic Tech credential (CCI) or Radiologic Technologist credential (ARRT) prior to hire / transfer date.
  • Illinois Radiologic Technologist licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
  • Preferred Certifications :

    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI).

    Education / Experience Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience, OR
  • Associate's / Technical Degree, OR
  • 2 years of cumulative job-specific experience.
