Job Opportunity: Biomedical Equipment Technician (Level I/II)
Location: Nacogdoches, TX
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional weekends/on-call)
We are hiring a Biomedical Equipment Technician to support the maintenance of biomedical equipment in our healthcare facility. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, electrical safety tests, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on biomedical equipment.
- Conduct electrical safety tests and inspections.
- Document results of maintenance and repairs.
- Support calibration and troubleshooting of medical devices.
- Participate in on-call duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of training or education in biomedical equipment maintenance or electronics (military training a plus).
- Recent experience in a healthcare/clinical engineering environment required.
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and meet health and immunization requirements.
- Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
