GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Junior Brand Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective global business and marketing plans to drive market growth, in close collaboration with wholesale markets and retail banners. Act as the global brand and business leader in maximizing & executing the brand’s long range plan goals. Ensuring that local brand strategies are developed against the overall brand objective in a high-pace, high-energy environment. Key aspects of this position include strategic thinking, cross-functional project planning and management, and fiscal/P&L management.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Sales Forecasting & Monitoring
- Responsible for setting & monitoring annual brand sales targets
- Review monthly sales by brand & identify gaps & opportunities
- Effectively develop plans to ensure that top line sales and bottom line goals are met
Business Analysis
- Support brand business updates to licensor and management on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Investigate sales results and identify commercial opportunities, sustainable strategies & actionable plans to grow sales & market share
- Partner with cross functional teams to ensure effective business delivery for the brands
- Owns brand activity calendar and related strategic projects.
- Provides support for key strategic priorities and brand messaging.
- Ensure alignment between brand initiatives and marketing budget.
WHS and Retail Management
- Partner with retail and WHS team on key activation that aligns with brand calendar
- Advocate for local market needs by analyzing ROI on local brand activation
- Align on distribution strategy to ties back to brand growth pillars
Licensor Management
- Creative brief development with agency and alignment with internal stakeholders
- Track and gather campaign asset need for retail and WHS
- Liaison between Trade Marketing and licensor to develop seasonal and permanent tools
Brand Activities Management
- Responsible for creating and maintaining Global Marketing Calendar & Marketing Budget including: Trade Marketing by Channel/Account, Global Media Plans, Training, Promotional/Commercial Plans
TRADE MARKETING
- Drive Trade Marketing strategy by market/COT
- Drive design strategy between internal stakeholder and licensor to ensure execution is aligned with brand direction and deadlines are being met
Specific Skills Needed:
- 3 years experience work experience that is relevant to product development, ideally in fashion
- Excel and power point proficient, data analysis
- Required levels/ Years of Experience education – discuss whether there is flexibility – B.B.A Degree
