Technical Product Manager-Supply Chain
W2 Contract

Hybrid (4 days onsite, WFH Fridays)
Overview: The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for product strategy, concept development, and execution of initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders and Supply Chain partners. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in Blue Yonder WMS, identifying capability gaps and delivering strategic roadmaps. The ideal candidate will thrive in a matrixed environment, demonstrate exceptional collaboration, and possess strong business and technical acumen to synthesize various technologies into effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and oversight across initiatives.
- Assist in analysis while providing strategic insight and support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business, vendor, and technology stakeholders.
- Configure systems in alignment with process definitions.
- Provide thought leadership and drive small projects/initiatives to completion.
- Serve as subject matter expert on business processes and systems.
- Manage relationships with vendors supporting COTS and SaaS products.
- Oversee interdependent projects aligned to business strategies and financial goals.
- Escalate issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Identify product and process improvement opportunities through sustainment and feedback.
- Support business case development for large or complex projects.
- Prioritize product roadmap initiatives in alignment with business needs.
- Partner with business teams to uncover underlying issues or opportunities.
- Develop business cases aligned with strategic and tactical goals.
- Support business, technical, and financial feasibility assessments.
- Lead business engagement and stakeholder management for complex projects.
- Assist in creating technical specifications, schemas, data mappings, and user stories.
- Collaborate with teams to align strategy, understand needs, define requirements, and manage delivery.
- Ensure requirements are aligned to business goals and refined for solution development.
- Assist in identifying high-level solution options.
- Review and sign off on solution designs, verifying business requirements are met.
- Organize requirements into prioritized backlogs and project iterations.
- Manage scope and traceability of requirements throughout the lifecycle.
- Participate in functional design, construction, and testing.
- Ensure changes are tracked, communicated, and delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Assist in vendor assessments and contract reviews to ensure alignment with business needs.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of product management experience.
- 7 years of experience with Blue Yonder WMS.
- Minimum 5 years of technical product knowledge in Supply Chain.
- Experience collaborating with senior leaders across business and technology.
- Deep Supply Chain expertise in Warehouse Delivery.
- Proven success driving product strategy and optimization across business lines (e.g., Merchandise/Food & Beverage).
- Familiarity with Agile practices, DevOps, CI/CD, and TDD.
- Strategic mindset with a proactive, action-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex, critical issues.
- Experience implementing AI/ML-based demand/supply forecasting solutions.
- Experience with Supply Chain Data Integration Platforms enabling seamless system communication.
