Electrical Engineer - Radio Communication Products
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will test and evaluate sub-circuit-level designs on base radio communication products, working collaboratively with a multi-discipline team including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and certify digital subcircuit-level designs to ensure functionality and adherence to specifications.
Proficiently read schematics and conduct PCB layout reviews.
Operate bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments to validate designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze product requirements and translate them into design specifications.
Provide technical contributions as part of a project team lasting approximately 6 to 12 months.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives.
Qualifications:
Assignment Duration: (gc-4/8/25) Long-term: 6-12 months
Work Schedule: 9 am to -5pm Monday-Friday
Work Location: 100 % Onsite only
Engagement Type: Temporary Only
Degree Requirement: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Main Responsibilities: Work with the design team to complete certification test plans on various products. Investigate and resolve design issues when encountered. Assist team completed certification on proto-type site controller products. Evaluate PCB changes for NDAA compliances. Assist various maintenance online activities for MSI current shipping products.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Proficient at reading and following schematics.
Proficient at navigate Print Circuit Board layout
Proficient at in-circuit measurements.
Proficient at using lab bench equipment such as power supply, multiple meters, and oscilloscope.
Strong knowledge of fundamental electrical circuits and digital design.
Comfortable with soldering

Work Environment & Requirements:
Work Environment: Provide the type of work environment.
An office cube and lab bench will be provided.
Safety-Sensitive Functions: Does this position require the resource to perform "safety-sensitive" functions? (e.g., operating machinery, working with hazardous materials, driving, live wires, etc.) If yes, then the full drug panel drug test is requested.
No safety equipment will be needed. However, workers will occasionally perform minor soldering in the lab. Lab tech is also available to assist.
Department - A team of 10 that generally breaks into two smaller scrum teams to work on various projects and support MOL activities. New hire will report to me directly.
Interview Process: 1 Onsite: (preferred) It will be technical, behavioral, and assessment.
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Nice-to-Have Skills: Minor surface mount soldering, even though we have lab tech to support. But having the skill can help speed up the process.
Industry Experience: Past experience with circuit-level measurement and testing on digital interfaces are preferred since we are responsible for all digital control design for our products.
