Front-End Developer

Role: Front-End Developer
Rate: $65/hour
Location: Philadelphia, PA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End Developer to join our team in building a user interface (UI) for a cutting-edge generative AI tool. This role will involve designing, coding, testing, and modifying systems, with a strong focus on creating an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI). The ideal candidate will have expertise in React and Typescript, with experience in UI/UX design to create seamless user experiences for advanced products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a graphical user interface (GUI) to support our generative AI tool.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create specifications, and ensure smooth integration of the user interface with backend systems.
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code using React and Typescript.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve issues related to system performance and UI/UX functionality.
• Perform testing, including troubleshooting and ensuring high-quality, bug-free user experiences.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure that UI/UX elements are user-friendly and visually appealing.
• Adhere to industry standards, best practices, and project deadlines.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• At least 8 years of experience in programming, with a focus on front-end development and UI/UX design.
• Expertise in React and Typescript.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with common programming concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Experience with C/C , XMotif programming interfaces, and GUI API packages is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, following pre-established guidelines.
• Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and optimization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
