Senior Informatica Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Employment Type: W2 Contract (12 months)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Informatica Developer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, as well as working with databases, cloud sources, and Linux-based scripting. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Informatica, SQL, and Linux shell scripting, along with a strong understanding of data integration best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Work with PowerCenter Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, and Repository Manager to manage and maintain data integration processes.
- Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) strategies from ODBC/JDBC sources, flat files, and cloud data sources (AWS S3, Snowflake).
- Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation and process efficiency.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries in Oracle databases.
- Integrate web services (REST/SOAP APIs) for data retrieval and transformation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL performance and data quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration.
Qualifications & Experience:
? 6 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter development.
? Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and Linux shell scripting.
? Experience working with ODBC/JDBC connections, flat files, and cloud sources (AWS S3, Snowflake).
? Familiarity with REST/SOAP API integrations for data extraction.
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
? Mainframe experience is a plus.
