Java / API Support Lead
W2 Contract only - Probably contract to hire

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Support Lead to drive technical innovation and lead a dynamic team. This role is primarily support but does have some component of development.
This role requires collaborating with engineering staff to evaluate hardware and software interfaces, develop specifications, and resolve customer issues efficiently. The person will be responsible for advising clients on software system maintenance, overseeing testing and validation procedures, and communicating project updates and technical concerns to various stakeholders. Additionally, this individual will direct software programming efforts and documentation development while ensuring best practices are maintained.
The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and foster a productive team environment. A strong foundation in API Management, C , Python, or Java is essential, along with expertise in TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment is crucial for success in this role, as is the ability to tackle technical challenges head-on with problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
Any Apigee API Gateway or Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) skills are a big plus!. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s degree being a plus. Lead experience to help mentor junior team members is required.
