Pay Rate: W2 $53/hr
The Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for performance testing and validation of application and infrastructure changes going to production.

The Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for performance testing and validation of application and infrastructure changes going to production.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality
- Analyze testing needs and develop testing strategies and plans
- Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures, including database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
- Ensure application documentation is complete and maintained/updated in a timely fashion
- Deliver effective and efficient testing solutions by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time, adhering to development and quality standards
- May coach, lead, and mentor other team members
- Provide testing management for ongoing projects and future initiatives
- Multiple years of experience as a performance tester or performance engineer
- Experience with HP Load Runner/Performance Center
- Apache JMeter
- Dynatrace (or other app monitoring tools)
- HP Performance Center
- Performance testing scripting, analysis, and recommendations (Performance Center or other tools)
- Performance Tuning/Recommendation
- Performance Engineering Background
- Team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to document reports for the business
