Work Schedule/Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-3pm (EST) – Flexible | Minimum 40 work hours per week.
Duration/Length of Assignment: 10 Month Contract to Hire

Position Overview:
This role supports a critical risk mitigation initiative within the ServiceNow/ITSM program, focusing on project coordination, risk assessment, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams. The team operates within a structured project management environment, ensuring effective facilitation of meetings, tracking of key program metrics, and execution of project governance activities. Reporting into a larger IT program management function, the selected candidate will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where clear communication and organization are key to ensuring project success. The Project Manager will play a key role in tracking project progress, managing stakeholder expectations, escalating risks and issues, and ensuring proper project documentation. They will oversee program deliverables, drive issue resolution, and coordinate across multi-functional teams to align with strategic business objectives. The role requires strong facilitation skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a detail-oriented approach to ensure project alignment with business goals.

Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.
- 4-6 years of project management experience with demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-stream activities and oversee risk mitigation initiatives.
- Strong ability to identify, assess, and escalate risks and issues, ensuring prompt resolution through structured communication and reporting.
- Experience facilitating meetings, managing expectations, and leading stakeholder discussions to drive project milestones forward.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity in project documentation, reporting, and team coordination.
- Experience with ServiceNow/ITSM projects and understanding of IT service management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint for project tracking, documentation, and executive reporting.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- PMI or PMP certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with risk analysis and mitigation frameworks in large-scale IT projects.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams to support program execution.
Day to Day/Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated baseline project plans, utilizing estimating models and defining resource requirements.
- Track project performance against established plans, capturing key metrics and assessing risks associated with scope changes or delays.
- Facilitate meetings and project discussions, ensuring alignment on priorities, deliverables, and expectations across teams.
- Provide schedule and cost forecasts, assisting in risk-based provisions and budget impact assessments.
- Manage client expectations and provide regular project updates through structured presentations and reporting.
- Identify, document, and escalate project risks and operational issues, ensuring proper resolution tracking and accountability.
- Oversee project closure activities, including client satisfaction surveys, final documentation, and lessons learned analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of all project activities, deliverables, and communications, ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on business goals and IT capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and structured project environment, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all workstreams.
