Scrum Master

Position Title: Scrum Master - Contractor

Location: Miamisburg, OH (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Contract Duration: Runs through the end of the year, with possible extension and Contract-to-Hire (C2H) opportunity.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team on a contract basis, supporting our banking client. The successful candidate will facilitate Agile processes for mortgage application technology, ensuring seamless integration between the mortgage team and the vendor. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technology background; banking experience is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Agile Facilitation:

  • Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Requirement Coordination:

  • Review every story with the team, ensuring that all requirements are well-understood and that the team has what they need for effective testing.

• Team Support:

  • Work closely with team members to clarify requirements, address impediments, and foster an environment of continuous improvement.

• Integration Management:

  • Act as the key liaison between the mortgage team and the vendor to ensure smooth integration and communication.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Agile Methodologies:

  • Proven experience working in Agile environments.

• Tools Expertise:

  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence.

• Technical Acumen:

  • Solid working knowledge of technology environments and software development life cycles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Preferred bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Experience:

  • Level 2: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Scrum or Agile project management.
