Work Schedule/Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday | Minimum 40 work hours per week with potential overtime as needed
Duration/Length of Assignment: 1 Year Contract to Hire

Position Overview:
This role is part of an onsite government service team that provides warehouse operations and logistics support to federal agencies. The position will oversee all aspects of warehouse functions, ensuring that materials and assets are received, stored, and distributed efficiently. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain operational accuracy and compliance with safety regulations. The role is embedded within a service-focused team that collaborates with various departments, including project management and customer service groups, to streamline inventory control and order fulfillment. Reporting directly to the hiring manager, this position plays a key role in optimizing warehouse procedures and supporting overall logistical efficiency. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics procedures while ensuring compliance with federal requirements. The role involves overseeing a team of warehouse staff, implementing process improvements, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to maintain efficient workflow. The position requires hands-on involvement with inventory tracking, asset management, and quality control measures to ensure that warehouse processes align with company and regulatory standards.

Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- High school diploma and Minimum 2 years of warehouse management experience
- Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software
- Ability to manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and maintain accurate documentation
- Experience implementing and maintaining quality control procedures and handling non-conforming materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Suite
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (current forklift certification required)
- Knowledge of asset management and inventory control procedures
- Understanding of safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance within warehouse operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with multiple teams and departments
- U.S. Citizenship Required – Security clearance includes DHS Public Trust and CJIS background screening (FICO Score of 650 preferred).
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (not required).
- Experience working in government contract environments
- Technical acumen or background in logistics and asset tracking systems
- Familiarity with non-conforming material handling protocols
Day to Day/Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling of receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage warehouse inventory levels, track stock movements, and document changes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Implement and maintain existing warehouse processes to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Monitor and enforce safety compliance and quality control protocols, including proper handling of non-conforming materials
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure proper storage and space utilization, optimizing warehouse layout for efficiency
- Coordinate with internal teams including service organizations, project management, and customer representatives to align warehouse operations with service objectives
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite to document reports, maintain logs, and communicate operational updates
- Train and assign tasks to warehouse personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety regulations
- Analyze warehouse data to identify areas for improvement, implementing cost-saving measures and operational efficiencies
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to facilitate movement of goods and materials within the warehouse
- Perform routine audits to maintain accurate inventory records and reduce discrepancies
- Manage warehouse receiving and distribution of non-conforming materials, ensuring proper documentation and reporting
- Provide onsite services to the government by ensuring the seamless flow of materials and equipment required for service delivery
