Things you can expect to do:
- With a dedicated focus on customer service, deliver effective and timely support and solutions individually and as part of a team.
- Maintain, update, and implement network infrastructure of customers including Windows Servers and Desktops, switches, routers, firewalls, Office 365, and Microsoft Azure.
- Set expectations with customers for follow up and resolution of issues.
- Instruct customers on best practices and make upgrade recommendations based on their needs.
- Quickly and accurately identify and document customer details and steps taken in projects and tickets.
- Troubleshoot network, device, and software issues within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Complete ticket and project work on time and on budget.
- Drive to customer sites to install and service computer and network hardware.
- Maintain billable hours.
Required qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant experience working with an MSP (Managed Service Provider) or experience working in a computer networking, NOC (Network Operations Center), or helpdesk environment.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of managing network devices and configurations.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of the following technologies:
- Microsoft 365 or comparable cloud platforms
- Computer hardware and a variety of operating systems including Windows Desktop OS, macOS, Windows Server, and mobile devices (Android and iPhone)
- Firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, subnetting).
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. The ability to travel on-site to locations across southern Minnesota on a daily basis is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- This position may require shift work as part of an organization that operates 24/7/365 and may require the ability to work weekends, evenings, overnight, or holidays as needed.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer information technology management, or a related field
- CompTIA A , Network , or relevant Microsoft certifications

Pay range:
Pay range: $70,000 – 90,000: The pay range shown represents the national pay range for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, level of experience, and other relevant factors. At CIT, we consider a variety of elements when determining salaries to ensure fair and competitive compensation for all our employees.
Work location:
CIT’s main office is located in Woodbury, Minnesota. This position will have a blend of home-based remote work, occasional office visits, and frequent/daily on-site visits to customer sites in Mankato, Rochester, Albert Lea, Faribault, Owatonna, Minneapolis, and other cities within this service area.
