Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, checking in repairs and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience by maintaining a clean well stocked showroom. You will engage with customers, demonstrate products, and contribute to the overall success of the store. You will engage customers online through Facebook, and other online platforms.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and promotions.
• Process transactions accurately using a cash register and handle cash responsibly.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring product displays are appealing.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
• Stay informed about new products and promotions to effectively sell merchandise.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and providing accurate pricing information.
• Familiarity with grocery store environments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers and team members alike.
• Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is beneficial.
