Epic Patient Billing Analyst

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Epic Patient Billing Analyst opening for our client in New York.

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 months

Certified Patient Billing, responsible for managing and optimizing the revenue cycle processes within healthcare organizations using Epic.

Their primary duties include:

• Configuring and maintaining Epic's Resolute Hospital Billing and Professional Billing modules.
• Collaborating with IT staff and other departments to improve user efficiency, usability, and patient safety.
• Evaluating, testing, and implementing Epic updates and upgrades.
• Troubleshooting issues reported by end-users and providing on-call support.
• Performing configuration changes and system builds.
• Conducting root cause analysis of incidents and implementing solutions.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for application understanding and change management.
• Managing requests from end-users, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
• Analyzing and optimizing billing processes to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements and billing guidelines.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Epic certification in Hospital Billing Administration/Professional Billing Administration.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Epic Contracts Reimbursements and Hospital/Professional Billing.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and medical billing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

This role is crucial for maintaining efficient and accurate billing operations, improving revenue cycle performance, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00/hour to $90.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
