Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Hardware Designer opening for our client in Rochester, MN.
Location : Remote
Duration : 6 months
Duties :
- Create and optimize layouts for PCBs and ICs, ensuring proper arrangement of components and routing of electrical connections.
- Perform design rule checks (DRC) to ensure compliance with fabrication specifications and standards.
- Analyze and mitigate issues related to signal integrity, crosstalk, and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
- Collaborate with circuit design engineers to understand circuit functionality and requirements, incorporating feedback into layouts.
- Assist in the fabrication of prototypes, ensuring layouts are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
- Generate clear and detailed layout documentation, including Gerber files, assembly drawings, and design specifications.
- Use Cadence Virtuoso layout editor XL for layout design and verification.
- Support testing and debugging of prototypes, identifying layout-related issues and implementing corrections.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55.00 / hour to $65.00 / hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
