CTG is seeking to fill a Procurement Support Assistant opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
Location : Buffalo, NY
Duration : 6 months
Overview :
We’re looking for a Procurement Support Assistant to handle data entry and provide general office support within the procurement team. This role will primarily focus on processing orders, maintaining records, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks. While not directly involved in negotiating or managing contracts, prior exposure to procurement documents or contracts could be helpful.
What You'll Do :
- Enter and update purchase orders and procurement records in company systems.
- Assist with tracking purchases and organizing procurement-related paperwork.
- Review invoices for accuracy before processing payments.
- Maintain and organize procurement documents, including contracts, for easy reference.
- Support the team with general office tasks such as filing, scheduling, and responding to internal inquiries.
- Assist with reporting and data entry projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For :
Experience Required :
Ability to follow directions and be flexible in tasks (no two days are the same).
Willingness to learn and grow; experience with contracts is a plus.
Basic data analytics skills, proficiency in Excel and Word preferred; Power BI experience is a plus.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
