What You’ll Do :
The Tier 2 Field Technician is responsible for onsite support for our clients including servers, desktops, laptops, network components and software. If you don't want to be stuck behind a desk this is the position for you.
- Maintain and manage Windows Servers
- Support for Microsoft Server products, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, RDS
- VMWare and VCenter experience and / or certifications is a plus
- Configuration and support of server functions including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and more
- Service and support of network components : Internet connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, and security
- Strong working knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting for Unifi, Sonicwall, Meraki, Sophos Devices
- Configuration and support of Veeam backup services and devices
- Experience using Remote Monitoring tools
- Support for desktop operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, 10, 11
- Hardware installation and troubleshooting
- Manage time efficiently and maintain current and accurate records in ConnectWise ticketing system.
- Communicate to clients :
- Remain current on IT trends and new technologies
