What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director, Technology Services position at COMPUTER/TECHNOLOGY SERVICES?
The role of the Assistant Director is to assist in providing leadership and coordination for the Technology Services Department. To assist the Technology Services Director in administrative responsibilities. To assist in the planning and supervising of the computer education program and to maintain current knowledge of computer techniques. The Assistant Director, Technology Services is to ensure that the District shall be in compliance, and maintain a manner consistent with Board Policy and consistent with statues and standards of regulatory agencies.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree; and
- Five (5) years securing enterprise networks large scale user environment experience.
- Experience with computer networking in public school organizations; and
- Experience of E-Rate application.
PREFERRED:
- Valid Texas Professional Mid-Management Certificate; Administrator Certificate or Principal Certificate;
- Master's Degree in Educational Technology, Information systems or related field Technology Certification
