CWI was founded in 1994 in a garage in Little Falls, NJ with a mission to supply refurbished spare parts to service companies, corporate end-users, and parts dealers. Over the years CWI has grown significantly. We have focused on the sale of refurbished computer hardware and built relationships and systems to provide our customers with superior value. We have offices on both the east coast and west coast. We have a combined total of 80,000 square feet of warehouse with state-of-the-art inventory tracking. Responsibilities include:
Audit & Grading – Inspect, and test hardware for cosmetic and functional defects and document the defects with comments and photographs. Match the build specifications to the appropriate part and model numbers for desktops, laptops, servers, and related peripheral equipment in our proprietary asset tracking system. Verify, troubleshoot, and communicate errors in our data collection and data wipe process with technical and network managers to ensure timely completion of audits.
Production – Your role will involve meeting or surpassing the established minimal production standards, as set by the technical manager, within our operational environment. Effective communication of your progress and any encountered challenges with team members and supervisors will be paramount to the smooth execution of these operations. By maintaining clear and concise communication, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our data center deployment and troubleshooting endeavors.
General – This role involves physical activities such as lifting and maneuvering computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods while performing grading and photography tasks. The ability to work comfortably in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, is essential.
Ideal Candidates will have the following skills:
· Diploma from an accredited technical school.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to perform multiple and differentiated tasks.
· Ability to communicate technical problems in a written and verbal format.
· 2 years of hands-on experience with brand name commercial grade PC equipment.
· Advanced knowledge of operating systems for Windows and Mac software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
