About the Job
As an Azure Infrastructure Specialist , you will design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure solutions to support the organization’s operational and strategic goals. As part of a team of infrastructure specialists, you will play a key role in ensuring robust data protection and disaster recovery strategies by deploying and maintaining cloud backup systems. Your expertise in Azure management tools and cloud backup technologies will help ensure business continuity and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Azure Infrastructure Management :
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and security components.
- Monitor and optimize Azure services to ensure performance and cost-efficiency.
- Implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, or Bicep.
- Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track performance, availability, and security metrics.
- Cloud Backup Systems :
- Design and manage cloud backup strategies using tools such as Azure Backup, Veeam Backup for Azure, Commvault, Rubrik, or NetBackup.
- Ensure data resiliency through regular backup testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery (DR) plans and processes using Azure Site Recovery or other DR tools.
- Ensure data compliance and retention policies align with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Security and Compliance :
- Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC), policies, and security best practices within Azure.
- Monitor and address vulnerabilities to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Documentation :
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure setups, configurations, and backup processes.
Qualifications :
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
