We have an amazing opportunity for a Client Data Coordinator – Entity Solutions (Governance) .
Reporting to the Data Workflow Manager – Entity Solutions, this new and exciting role will be responsible for administration and maintenance of our entity management systems, primarily GEMS.
Today’s General Counsel, Corporate Secretaries, and legal departments are under mounting pressure to deal with increasing corporate compliance, governance, and reporting requirements, and as a result they are looking for partners who can provide a full suite of governance and company secretarial services. In response to this trend and feedback from our clients, we are growing our team of corporate governance professionals who will provide Computershare clients with a broad range of governance advisory and managed services to expand on and complement our existing Computershare Entity Solutions (CES) technology solutions.

A role you will love
- Acting as main point of client contact by owning and maintaining Data Management Services for assigned clients; providing subject matter expertise; handling reporting and org charting obligations, as required. (50% of time)
- Partnering with and establishing a rapport with both internal and external contacts, keeping them abreast as to the status of requests, and maintaining complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of client data. (20% of time)
- Participating in the integration of new clients by assisting in data entry and large-scale document uploads involving a high volume of documents; configuration of the software to client specifications; participating in client calls to provide updates to the client on the progress of implementation. (15% of time)
- Contributing to a variety of global projects, campaigns, and initiatives, as and when required. (5% of time)
- Keeping abreast of both internal and external influences to help shape continuous growth and development of the global Governance Services business and service offering. (5% of time) Developing own professional competencies and skills through proactive personal development. (5% of time)
What will you bring to the role
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of Administrative, Clerical, Data Entry or Data Management experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house setting a plus.
- Effective networking and communication skills, and the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels with clients and colleagues.
- Reading comprehension is extremely important as the role holder is required to read legal documents and to pull information from those documents without much guidance. This is a near daily responsibility.
- Project Management knowledge and a high level of organization. Attention to detail and some evaluative judgment based on best practice and previous experience. You will be expected to respond to and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by clear policy and procedure.
