Sr. Network Engineer/Architect Position
ComResource is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Network Engineer/Architect to join our team in Springfield, Ohio. This is a full-time position that requires on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Assessment and Analysis: The successful candidate will conduct a thorough analysis of the current network infrastructure, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and potential security threats.
- Network Design and Planning: Based on the analysis, they will design a robust and secure network architecture that aligns with the company's objectives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Implementation: The architect will oversee the implementation of the designed network, working closely with the Network Teams to ensure proper installation and configuration of network hardware and software.
- Security: They will ensure the network is secure by checking firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Integration: If necessary, they will integrate new technologies and systems with the existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and minimal disruption to business activities.
- Performance Monitoring: They will monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal operation using current monitoring tools.
- Documentation and Training: They will document all network configurations, changes, and procedures, and provide training to IT staff on network management and best practices.
- Collaboration: They will work closely with other departments, such as IT, security, and management, to ensure the network meets the company's needs and supports its operations.

Required Technical Skills:
- Heavy experience with Cisco suite, Switches, Wireless, Firewalls, etc.
- Experience with assessments, focusing on setting up correct infrastructure.
- Ability to manage legacy tools and ensure their stability.
