ComResource is looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer (Onshore).
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to ensure the operational stability and performance of real-time payments (RTP), BIN, and ACH / Wires applications hosted on AWS. This is a senior-level, onshore role focused on providing hands-on Level 2 support, technical troubleshooting, and leading efforts to improve monitoring, automation, and documentation. You will serve as the subject matter expert for operational concerns, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive initiatives to enhance application reliability and performance.
Responsibilities :
- Lead Level 2 support efforts for issues related to Java Spring and Ruby on Rails web services.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and collaborate with engineering teams to implement long-term solutions.
- Provide expertise in supporting REST APIs, cloud-native applications, and database technologies, including AWS Aurora and PostgreSQL.
- Set up, maintain, and enhance monitoring, alerting, and eventing solutions using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, and APM tools.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, coordinating efforts across team members to resolve critical issues.
- Ensure service uptime and reliability through proactive monitoring, incident management, and response, addressing KPIs and mitigating risks associated with system performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve deployment processes and enhance application resilience.
- Mentor junior team members, promoting technical growth and operational excellence.
- Document support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and resolutions for knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and incident response efforts.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations, ensuring the platform adheres to required banking operations standards and regulatory frameworks.
