ComResource is looking for a Senior Data Modeler.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Modeler to design and implement data models that drive analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have expertise in industry-standard data modeling methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault 2.0) and experience applying them to modern data architectures, including Medallion Architecture on Databricks for Delta Live Tables (DLT). This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to create effective data flows and enterprise-level data solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain data models using methodologies like Kimball (dimensional), Inmon (3NF), and Data Vault 2.0.
- Design and optimize data models following the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) on Databricks, specifically for Delta Live Tables (DLT).
- Analyze and enhance existing data flows and pipelines.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust data models and workflows.
- Optimize models and workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability while resolving data-related issues.
- Document data models, data flows, and governance processes to promote best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and scientists to ensure seamless integration of data models into the broader data platform.
