Currently, we are seeking a Systems Administrator - Panama Shift to join our Team!
**TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION.**
Primary Responsibilities:
Please note this is currently a DAY SHIFT position requiring every other weekend. The shift is 6AM to 6PM Monday and Tuesday, (off Wed/Thurs), 6AM-6PM Fri/Sat/Sun, (off Mon/Tue), 6AM-6PM Wed/Thurs, repeat. The team is working rotating Panama shifts.At any time, it could be necessary to change shifts or help with coverage.
The System Administrator will:
- Configure, install, manage and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and GOTS/COTS software
- Support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices
- Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis
- At least 5 years troubleshooting software installations and operations.
- Understanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
- Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree & 10 years of Systems Administration experience
- No degree & 15 years of Systems Administration experience
- CompTIA Security Certification is a MUST
