Currently, we are seeking a Test Engineer II to join our Team!
** Must have active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph before consideration **
Position Responsibilities:
- Testing web-based GUIs, Enterprise Java Applications, or Messaging Systems.
- Evaluating web-based GUIs for Section 508 compliance.
- Working with REST and testing REST-based web services.
- Understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL queries and validating results.
- Using scripting languages to automate testing on a Linux platform
Requirements:
- TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION
- Five (5) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Public Key Enabling (PKE), RESTful services and containers (Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), Java programming language, Perl programming language, Java EE, Secure web (SSL), and file encryption
- LDAP (RedHat directory), Java Linux (CentOS), Modern IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclispe, etc.) and Agile Scrum process
- Two (2) years' experience testing products written in Java or GoLang
- Three (3) years' experience testing in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting and working in a Linux OS
- Proven experience as a Software/Systems Test Engineer or similar role
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Education & Experience:
- Five (5) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
