This hourly position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with foundational purchasing experience to further develop their skills in sourcing, supplier management, and procurement strategy while supporting the company's supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and manage purchase orders with selected suppliers.
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to meet company quality, cost, and delivery goals.
- Support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Monitor market trends and provide input on pricing and sourcing strategies.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines in procurement activities.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency.
