Comstock Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Leasing Coordinator to support our leasing operations for a diverse portfolio of mixed-use developments. The Leasing Coordinator will play a crucial role in facilitating efficient leasing processes, maintaining tenant relationships, and providing administrative support in finalizing Lease transactions. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support administrative elements of deal transaction to include assistance in the preparation and distribution of proposals, commission agreements, internal approval forms, etc.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing content and resources including office stacking plans, retail leasing plans, space LOD’s and project site plans.
- Track, update and maintain internal leasing reports including tenant contact information, tenant sales, lease provision reports, lease timelines, and current lease agreement status.
- Interface with existing and prospective new tenants to include receiving and responding to incoming leasing inquires, follow up on prospect and tenant requests and assist with site tours for potential tenants.
- Proactively canvass and prospect for new and expanding uses within the market to grow our portfolio and maximize occupancy.
- Assist in coordination and setting up of broker and tenant meetings, site tour and hard hat tours.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and update marketing materials, property brochures, window graphics, and email blasts to attract potential tenants.
- Assist with coordination and collaboration with Tenant Coordination, Construction and Development teams to finalize work letters, pricing quotes and test fits.
- Work with Asset Management to prepare and generate reports on leasing activity, occupancy rates, and financial performance as required.
- Participate in regular meetings and communication with property managers, leasing team, tenant coordination, legal and other team members to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Assist in market research to stay informed about competitive leasing rates, market trends, and industry best practices.
- Support Leasing with tasks as needed for the negotiation and coordination of lease terms, rent adjustments, and tenant improvement allowances.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role. 4- year college degree preferred
- Strong computer skills to include Excel & Word. PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat desired
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
