Key Responsibilities:
· Installation and Maintenance: Fitters install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems across various settings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations.
· Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute system installations accurately.
· System Testing and Troubleshooting: Regular inspections and tests are conducted to ensure the functionality and compliance of fire sprinkler systems. Troubleshoot and repair issues with sprinkler components and systems.
· Collaboration and Documentation: Working closely with project managers, construction professionals, and team members to meet project goals and deadlines. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections is also a key duty.
